Our New Hometown
Welcoming its first new residents in 1966
A website that has just been instituted for Livingstonians to share their experiences of moving to the town
from aw the airts.
It was set up by me, John Stewart who relocated to Livingston from Leith in November 1966.
This follows on from my other site www.oldleither.com that is still in being after 10 years. This site as the name implies is for Leithers and exLeithers to share their memories of growing up in the Port.
This has been such a success, that I fealt it was time I did something similar for my present town of abode.
After all, I have spent more time here in West Lothian than I did back east in the city.
It will contain memories and photographs as well as a guestbook. This can be used for swapping memories on any subject raised.
I look forward to receiving your inputs to put on site.
